About me: lineages of learning & work and body & place
My learning and work has focused on transformational change focused on repair, healing and redesign of cultural and institutional systems and processes in service of anti-oppression and equitable outcomes.
As a change maker I have worked both in internal and external capacities in local, national and multi-national organizations driving org development initiatives in for over 15 years. This work is informed by a blend of non-western anti-colonial and anti-imperialist perspectives as well as organizational development and change management participatory processes. Such projects have included:
Kadampa World Peace Temple Projects in New York, NY and Sarasota, FL
American Civil Liberties Union - Operational Efficiencies, Nationwide Intranet, co-creator for the reimagined Affiliate Support and Nationwide Initiatives team alongside their department head, Kary Moss resulting in new, more effective and equitable organizational processes and systems including a re-vamped Grants to Affiliates portal between the ACLU National Office and its 54 State Affiliates from 2015-2021.
At the National Audubon Society, Andrés led the design and implementation of its Restorative Justice framework through a time of significant leadership change with a focus on building awareness of structural and interpersonal racism and developing restorative and transformative pathways of organizational change.
